|This final master's thesis aims to expand the scope of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, integrating its own offer into the IQAS processes that cover the life cycle of degrees ( definition, design, implementation, revision and improvement, and extinction). The need for highly professional and flexible lifelong learning to respond to a labor market and a rapidly changing political, social and economic context has placed the qualifications as a central line of activity. higher education institutions. Unlike official degrees, own degrees are not subject to external evaluation processes and universities have autonomy in defining, designing and deploying these programs. The purpose of integrating the life cycle of the qualifications in the IQAS is to systematize the continuous improvement of this type of offer and ensure accountability to all stakeholders. To carry out this work, there will be a review of the characteristics of lifelong learning and the UOC's own offer catalog, and an analysis of how the life cycle of programs is carried out (currently outside the framework of the IQAS). , in order to detect the needs of this offer when integrating it into the processes. In addition, the needs and expectations of those responsible for the offer and the teams involved in the management of the processes will be collected, and the agreements and regulations and the contributions of national and international experts on quality and lifelong learning will be taken into account.
