Title: Estrategia de comunicación de Vox en Twitter durante la crisis de la COVID-19
Author: Lorenzo Pérez, Ylenia
Tutor: López-Borrull, Alexandre
Abstract: Research on Vox's use of the social network Twitter during the crisis of COVID-19. The study of three profiles of the far-right party in Spain (Vox, Santiago Abascal and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros) has allowed us to know the predominant discursive elements, the messages and the impact of their communication strategy, as well as the linkage of the political agenda with the main concerns of the electorate. The results show that Vox has used the crisis of COVID-19 to try to accustom the electorate to its political agenda and discredit the central government, in order to incite the overthrow of the government and position itself as the only solution to the 'evils' of Spain. Vox has used the tactics of Donald Trump during the election campaign of 2016: polarization, emotional language, populism and misinformation.
