Abstract: The aim of this paper is understanding how the Covid-19 pandemic could have affected inequality, wealth distribution and inequity in Spain and its side effects on people, since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. This paper aspires to compare the before and after economic and social scenario due the side effects the Covid-19, especially at national economic level, the impact on unemployment and those changes in the national labor market by region and sectors as well as the inequality and inequity that have produced in the national citizenship, with a broad focus in women and people in charge of the cures. On the other hand, this paper wants to ask what kind of changes have occurred in the wealth distribution and which sectors and regions have been the more impacted by the unexpected irruption of the current Covid-19 pandemics. At the same time, the paper is keen to understand the relevance on inequality due to the increase of remote working, which is the impact by sector of activity and which ones could have been affected for not being able to implement them Last but not least, it is important for this paper to understand whether the pandemics has had or is having an impact in the inequity in women, people taking care of the cures of the elder and children, as well as other vulnerable collectives and to which extent affects the professional career and economic development of the affected profiles.
