Title: Auditoría de red local mediante un dispositivo autónomo

Abstract: The aim of this work is to investigate the possibility and then develop a stand-alone system for auditing LAN networks. This system will be based on a Linux operating system executed on a portable ARM machine with connectivity through an ethernet RJ45 interface. The first part of the work will be based on the choice of the best hardware and software system to reliably get the audit data we need. In the following phases of the TFG, the development and integration of the solution will begin, based on existing tools coordinated through different scripts and exception control, considering the scope set for the TFG project and the agreed deadline for it. This system must be capable of detecting the network topology and the basic protocols that appear in it once connected to an ethernet network socket of the local network to be. Subsequently, it will launch a series of predefined tests and connectivity tests that will aim to obtain as much information as possible from the different hosts that appear on the network and then, thanks to the information obtained in the previous step, run tests of known vulnerabilities. Finally, it will produce a report that will be left in a portable format as a PDF together with the evidence for the auditor to check the vulnerabilities of the network. Any improvement that can be applied to the system within the established timeframe and that is not contemplated in the initial scope will be assessed.
