Abstract: One of the initiatives to improve sustainable life in a city consists in providing citizens with a large and secure cyclable network, so that its use is enhanced. Along these lines, the city of Barcelona is incorporating a set of measures within its Urban Mobility Plan to achieve a more sustainable, safe, equitable and efficient mobility. This work is based on the statistical and geospatial analysis of the open data referring to the cycling infrastructure of the city of Barcelona, the traffic capacity of the roads, the accidents associated with this means of transport and the polluting agents. Overlaping all this information will allow to understand the actions of the City Council to promote this sustainable initiative. To sum up, the resulting product will consist of an interactive viewer which will facilitate a spatio-temporal inspection of the data. Specifically, the ArcGIS Online application (AGOL) will be composed of tabs, each of which will correspond to a study topic. These sections will contain layers made up of geospatial data previously treated and analyzed with R and ArcGIS Pro, both tools linked through the R-ArcGIS Bridge connector, to enhance the analysis. Finally, a Story Maps Series will be built, which will internally incorporate comparision applications, graphs and widgets created with Configurable Apps, Dashboards and Web AppBuilder, respectively. This enriched viewer will be published in AGOL for sharing.
