Abstract:	Malnutrition is a frequent complication in oncologic patients receiving active treatment with surgery, radio-chemotherapy or chemotherapy; causing immunosuppression and increased inflammatory response. This review aims to analyze the scientific evidence on the effectiveness of immunonutrient supplementation versus standard supplementation in patients undergoing onco-specific therapies.
