Abstract: | A paradigm change is taking place in organizations today. Many of them are based on IT business models hosted in data centers in their facilities or managed by third parties, however, for several years, many suppliers have been betting heavily on moving the IT business towards a public cloud architecture based on pay-per-use. The fictitious company in this project currently has two computing nodes hosted on its own installations. After years of not carrying out investments in the improvement of the systems, telework came to establish itself, therefore its current infrastructure does not support all the traffic generated by the relocation of the workplace. For all these reasons, the company needs to migrate its infrastructure to a model that allows greater scalability. Accordingly, this work aims to create a methodological guide to project management. Based on the steps suggested by current frameworks. The main objective of the project is to successfully carry out the migration to the cloud, covering all the steps from the first meeting with the client defining their concerns and interests, transferring it to the systems consultancy, and using change management to conclude the project by delivering the final documentation. |
