Title: | Designing circular for a positive impact through behavioral changes in domestic used oil waste management |
Author: | Sanz Vicente, Nuria |
Tutor: | González Fernández, Andrés |
Abstract: | We currently live in a world of a linear approach to growth: make, use and dispose. This way in which we currently extract, produce and consume resources is leading us towards a climate crisis. Design now plays a pivotal role in changing these narratives and facilitating alternative visions of the future. Circular design is a discipline that abandons this paradigm of use and throw away, betting on the reuse of products, and developing systems that favor a circular economy. This master's thesis is part of this discipline, and aims to study and propose new and more sustainable reverse logistics systems for the management of household fatty waste. This project reinforces the knowledge acquired throughout the development of the Master in Interaction Design and User Experience, highlighting the importance of planning the different phases that make up a UX design project focused on people, and identifying what methodologies and strategies need to be applied and when to develop a service aligned to the needs of users and business and ensure a good user experience. |
