Abstract: This project consists in the approach, the definition and the creation of a video game with the Unity engine. The video game created is Card Tamer, a game, as its name says, where you tame different kind of creatures contained in cards. Ergo, this video game is a card game in which the player uses these creatures called critas to defeat their opponent. However, unlike other video games based on card games, Card Tamer does not revolve around duels between two decks, since the player will face enemy Critas, being able to add them to their deck after defeating them. The player's deck also includes activation cards with which the player can turn the battle in their favour. On the other hand, an overworld is implemented where the player gets to know the world of Card Tamer. In this overworld, role-playing elements are included with which the player can edit their deck and even improve their cards by levelling them up. Although there are already role-playing games and card games on the market, the combination of both genres together mixed up with a post-apocalyptic storyline creates a unique gaming experience. On the other hand, a card video game always offers the possibility of adapting it into a real-world card game, so it's quite an attractive market to enter.
