CI/CD en Infraestructura como código (IaC). Caso práctico en Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Abstract

Se persigue aplicar las buenas prácticas del desarrollo de software a la infraestructura como código, esto es, que el código esté en un repositorio, accesible por todo el equipo, antes de modificarse la infraestructura pueda ser revisado por un compañero, analizar la calidad del código, probar que la infraestructura se comporta como esperamos, que el despliegue de nuevos cambios y rollback a una versión anterior de nuestra infraestructura esté automatizado. Los motivos de llevar a cabo este proyecto son estudiar las tecnologías, configuraciones y procesos para aplicar las buenas prácticas del desarrollo de software a la Infraestructura como código en un entorno colaborativo empresarial, en esencia CI/CD aplicada a IaC, desarrollaremos un caso práctico de pipeline de integración continua y despliegue de infraestructura sobre Amazon Web Services.

The aim is to apply the good practices of software development to the infrastructure as code, that is, code is in a repository, accessible by the entire team, before the infrastructure is modified it can be reviewed by a colleague, analyze the quality of the code, test that the infrastructure behaves as we expect, that the use of new changes and rollback to a previous version of our infrastructure is automated. The reasons for carrying out this project are to study the technologies, configurations and processes to apply the good practices of software development to Infrastructure as code in a collaborative business environment, in essence CI/CD applied to IaC, we will develop a practical case of continuous integration pipeline and infrastructure deployment on Amazon Web Services.

Els motius de dur a terme aquest projecte són estudiar les tecnologies, configuracions i processos per aplicar les bones pràctiques del desenvolupament de programari a la Infraestructura com a codi en un entorn col·laboratiu empresarial, en essència CI/CD aplicada a IaC, desenvoluparem un cas pràctic de pipeline d'integració contínua i desplegament d'infraestructura sobre Amazon Web Services.
