Abstract: Given the high incidence of breast cancer in our country, teleoncology was launched as a response and support for the treatment of this disease. Oncology patients become very addicted to hospital care, and to this care burden must be added the increase in costs, procedures and duplication of tests that telecare alleviated. However, although tele-oncology was already underway, the definitive leap has been made by the crisis caused by the coronavirus. Objetive. To evaluate telemonitoring in oncology during the treatment of breast cancer. Metodology. A bibliographic review was carried out in different specialized databases such as Pubmed, Scopus and Web of Science following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines in the months of April and May 2022. Results. Fifteen articles that met the established inclusion criteria were reviewed. Most of the articles confirmed that the use of telemonitoring through portable devices, applications or synchronous communication with different specialists improved the efficacy of treatment in breast cancer. Also, 74% of patients showed acceptance and satisfaction with e-Health due to its convenience, efficiency and low cost, while keeping patients, doctors and office staff safe in this time of pandemic. Conclusion. The examined bibliography allows us to identify that telemonitoring provides clinical improvement of patients during study participants, thus, e-Health is presented as the main factor of acceptance due to its effectiveness in receiving and offering healthcare for oncological treatment.
