Abstract: Comprehension and oral expression skills are two relevant elements in all verbal communication, which often pose challenges and difficulties for students and teachers. These skills have traditionally been underdeveloped and often assessed rather than taught. Based on the results of several relevant researches and studies, the present work experiments with new possibilities around the teaching/learning of these complex competencies, using the promising educational dimensions offered by technology. This proposal proceeds to design and implement a didactic application, which is intended to be novel, based on the use of podcast and other educational technological support tools, in the context of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), with the aim of working on these competences in French as a second language, in a 6th grade classroom in Andorra la Vella.
