Abstract: | Within the telecommunications sector, the interconnections of different company branches are becoming more important as companies with headquarters located in different locations have increased in recent years. This situation means that companies are spending extra money on infrastructure and equipment, which they are sometimes unwilling to take on. However, most companies want their connections to be smooth and with low latency at a low cost. In this context, the objective of this work is to achieve, by means of a scenario with real equipment, that a company can connect its equipment through level 2 circuits configured over the MPLS network of a service operator. To this end, several EoMPLS (Ethernet Over MPLS) circuits have been configured to simulate a direct Ethernet connection between its equipment, with the service operator's infrastructure being completely transparent and achieving a link of a given capacity. Finally, several functionalities have been incorporated to give robustness to the network, so that services can be offered that provide high reliability and availability to meet the needs of customers or companies. |
