Abstract: Board games have become a leading entertainment form, offering players numerous social and cognitive benefits. Despite the existence of specialized stores and spaces in this sector, the pandemic and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) are driving the digitization of the community, leading to a decrease in attendance and local commerce. In this project, we investigate the factors contributing to this situation, the problems faced by users, and potential product solutions from a user-centered design perspective. As a final result, we designed a mobile app that makes it easier for players to find and reserve games and spaces to gather again.
