|Adequació de les evidències i indicadors per a l’acreditació institucional dels centres als nous objectius educatius

|Traditional education and training institutions will have to reposition themselves in the face of the new trends that are affecting the educational model and that can be synthesized around five major strategic issues: improving quality and equity; a new role for teachers; the implementation of digital education, ecological education and the promotion of international relations. The main objective of this work is to elaborate a proposal of evidence and indicators that corroborate the effective inclusion within the institutional quality policy and objectives of these new trends and challenges facing higher education, in order to provide decision-makers with elements that will help them determine what actions they need to take to improve the results of their activities. The ultimate aim is to ensure the continuous improvement of the institutions, firstly by means of a self-diagnosis each time the centers review their internal quality assurance system (SGIQ), based on defined objectives, which will be monitored by means of the indicators that have been designed. And then, by being accountable for their performance, either by publishing the results obtained, or by passing the institutional accreditation processes, where the evaluators will verify that the new strategic objectives arising from the visualization of the university as a space that generates fairer and socially responsible alternatives, with a commitment to transversal training, which incorporates more active learning methodologies and places the student at the center of the educational process, are being achieved to the expected extent; and also if the design of the programs, the teaching methodology, the evaluation systems and the academic results are adequate; if the facilities, services and resources to support learning are aligned with the new perspectives defined and if the profile of the teaching staff is suitable to meet the demands of the student body.
