"Cartells turístics Montecarlo-Montferrant”. Del llegat artístic dels anys 20 fins a l’era digital

Abstract

"Cartells Turístics Montecarlo-Monferrant: Del llegat artístic dels anys 20 fins a l'era digital" és un projecte curatorial que s'emmarca dins l’àrea de disseny i publicació de continguts del TFG. Aquesta exposició tracta sobre el cartellisme publicitari produït al llarg dels anys 20 sobre diferents regions de la Costa Francesa del Mediterrani. L’objectiu principal és fer valdre el cartell com a potent eina d’informació i expressió popular a peu de carrer. Per portar a terme aquesta exposició s’ha realitzat una investigació del context històric, així com una anàlisi exhaustiva de les diferents obres dels artistes d’aquella època. Per tal de canalitzar tota aquesta informació, s’han dissenyat tres tipus d’artefactes visuals. Per una banda, s’ha descrit de forma visual l’espai interior d’una sala real d’exposicions a Blanes. Per l’altra banda, s’han creat dos cartells d’aquesta vil·la catalana, inspirant-se en la mateixa línia gràfica que els cartells francesos. I per acabar, s’ha realitzat un catàleg amb acabats exclusius que engloba tot el contingut de l’exposició en dos idiomes, català i francès. El resultat final del multiprojecte forma un conjunt gràfic cohesionat, professional i ben argumentat, que convida el visitant a reflexionar sobre la longevitat del cartell com a peça gràfica i comunicativa i, perquè no, a fer una escapada per la Côte Azur.

“Montecarlo-Monferrant Tourist Posters: From the Artistic Legacy of the 1920s to the Digital Era” is a curatorial project that falls within the area of design and content publication of the TFG (Bachelor’s Degree Final Project). This exhibition focuses on the advertising posters produced during the 1920s about different regions of the French Mediterranean Coast. The main objective is to showcase the poster as a powerful tool of information and popular expression on the streets. To carry out this exhibition, a research of the historical context has been conducted, as well as a thorough analysis of the various works by artists from that era. To channel all this information, three types of visual artifacts have been designed. On one hand, the interior space of a real exhibition hall in Blanes has been visually depicted. On the other hand, two posters of this Catalan town have been created, taking inspiration from the same graphic style as the French posters. And lastly, a catalog with exclusive finishes has been produced, encompassing all the content of the exhibition in two languages, Catalan and French. The final result of this multi-project forms a cohesive, professional, and well-argued graphic ensemble that invites visitors to reflect on the longevity of the poster as a graphic and communicative piece, and perhaps even plan a getaway to the Côte d’Azur.
