Abstract: | The digital era has brought important advances and changes not only in technological aspects but also in our society. The appearance of digital photography was a key point when working in the photographic world. Although the main spirit of capturing images did not change, the way of understanding digital photography compared to analog did change, resulting in changes in its perception. An SD card allows storing thousands of photographs of very good quality compared to a roll or photographic film of 36 photographs, for example. In terms of profession, this fact was a great advantage, but the idea that the quantity for making almost unlimited photographs devalued in some way the spirit of capturing the moment with a single image. Over time, analog photography becomes relevant again like vinyl music. There are people who have found in analog a way of seeing photography differently than digital. In this case, limiting the number of photographs also involves thinking well about the image you want to make and making sure to do it well, highlighting a more purist point of view related to this art. The following project aims to automate the photochemical development process with Arduino, implementing a series of electronic devices and programming code to carry it out, facilitating the person who wants to develop this task. |
