Title: Propuesta de intervención basada en mindfulness para personas sin hogar
Author: Martín Iglesias, Angélica
Tutor: Fornaguera Flores, Esther
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to propose a Mindfulness-Based Intervention for a group of homeless people from a residential shelter, analyzing its impact on emotional regulation, rumination, and mindfulness skills in the present moment. Likewise, it is intended to examine whether the cultivation of compassion and kindness towards themselves and towards others generates an improvement in interpersonal relationships and, therefore, in coexistence in the center. In addition, it is intended that the participants find a safe space for self-knowledge where they can address difficult situations and emotions and those related to situations related to being homeless. Mindfulness has become one of the star topics in current psychology scientific publications, possessing a recognized therapeutic incidence as a third generation therapy. Likewise, the present work contains a statistical analysis of various psychological and social variables, mentioned before, that allows to evaluate the effects of the pre and post intervention, also allowing to evaluate the stability of the results over time.
