Abstract: Alcohol use disorder entails a reduction in the quality of life of the people who suffer from it, given its consequences in areas of great importance, such as mental and physical health, autonomy or interpersonal relationships. The main goal of the development of this work is to propose a cognitive rehabilitation and psychotherapy intervention that allows the detection and rehabilitation of the neurocognitive deficits manifested by patients with alcohol use disorder quickly and effectively, improve their psychological well-being and prevent possible relapses. To achieve this objective, a total of 50 people will be recruited, who must be in a minimum abstinence period of one month, and an experimental design will be carried out dividing the sample into two groups; on the one hand, a control group (that will receive the usual treatment) and, on the other, an experimental group that will receive the proposed intervention plan (neurocognitive intervention with the Gradior software and ACT-based psychotherapy). Pre-intervention, post-intervention and follow-up measures will be recorded at 3 and 9 months after receiving the treatment. The expected result is an improvement in neurocognitive deficits and psychological well-being in the experimental group, compared to the control group, as well as an improvement in relapse prevention in this same group. Among the limitations detected stand out the small size of the sample, the exclusion of comorbidities (which hardly occurs in clinical practice) and to establish better defined inclusion criteria (gender, age, etc.).
