|Due to the chronification of the precariousness of the socio-labour market and its consequences in the mental health of the population, this study intends to focus on the collectives that double suffer discrimination; women and migrant women. With the aim of analysing the consequences of the precariousness of the socio-labour market in the mental health of women in Ontinyent, a document that provides the results of a small-scale study carried out in this town is provided. To perform this, the test of general mental health GHQ-12 has been used. The snowball sampling approach was the one selected, comprising 194 women with a current link with Ontinyent. The results, which score 12,19 in this GHQ-12 test, show a likely presence of psychopathology, together with the idea that the subjective perception that one has over her job interferes directly in the mental health of the individuals subject to study more than the level of income. These results also show a bigger scale of precariousness and less mental health in migrant women.
