WikiTIC - Gestió Documental i del Coneixement per a Departaments TIC d’entitats locals

Abstract

Un departament de tecnologia i informació genera una gran quantitat de documentació tècnica i d’altres àmbits relacionats, com poden ser contractacions, pressupostos, etc. Tot aquest coneixement en forma de documents ha de ser estructurat de manera que la interacció amb la informació sigui senzilla i eficient, proporcionant cerques eficaces i classificacions coherents, evitant la duplicitat i la desactualització dels continguts. En el dia a dia d’un departament TIC, aconseguir aquestes qualitats sense un gestor del coneixement es fa complicat. Aquest treball cerca analitzar l’estructura i els documents de l’organització, per tal de valorar quins són els requisits necessaris que ha de complir un sistema wiki col·laboratiu, que haurà de ser seleccionat, instal·lat, parametritzat i analitzat, amb l’objectiu d’ajustar-se a les necessitats de l’entitat. La fita final és aconseguir un prototip funcional, basat en programari lliure, que sigui capaç de satisfer les necessitats ja comentades, demostrant que el seu ús millora el rendiment i l’eficàcia en la gestió de la informació departamental, proporcionant coherència estructural i cerques eficients, i tot aplicat al coneixement del qual disposa el departament. En conclusió, l’ús d’una plataforma wiki ha de proveir l’organització de la capacitat de col·laboració dins el departament, així com facilitar la compartició dels aprenentatges de l’experiència per mitjà d’un gestor del coneixement correctament parametritzat i posant el focus en donar resposta a les carències inicials.

A technology and information department generates a large amount of technical documentation such as contracts, budgets, to mention a few. All this knowledge in the form of documents must be structured in such a way that the interaction with the information is simple and efficient, providing effective searches and consistent classifications, avoiding duplication and outdated content. In the day-to-day life of an ICT department, achieving such an efficient workflow without a knowledge manager becomes complicated. This work seeks to analyze the organization's structure and documents, in order to assess what are the necessary requirements that a collaborative wiki system must meet, which must be selected, installed, customised and analyzed, with the objective of adjusting to the needs of the entity. The final goal is to achieve a functional prototype, based on free software, that is able to satisfy the needs already discussed, proving that its use improves performance and effectiveness in the management of departmental information, providing structural coherence and efficient searches, and everything applied to the knowledge available to the department. In conclusion, the use of a wiki platform must provide the organization with the ability to collaborate within the department, as well as facilitate the sharing of the learning experience through a correctly customised knowledge manager and focusing on responding to initial deficiencies.
