Abstract: | As a final degree project, it has been decided to create a video game based on virtual reality technology and set in the popular physical and mental adventure games called Escape rooms. The purpose of the project is to create an immersive experience for the user, where they will have to solve puzzles in order to escape from a virtual room within a set time limit. With the completion of this work, the goal is to utilize all or most of the competencies acquired throughout the degree program for the development of a project such as a game, with everything that entails project management skills, technical design, software development, data and case analysis, user testing, among many other skills. This document will detail all the steps of this process, from the reason and description of the game to its design and implementation, including all the problems and decisions encountered along the way. Finally, upon completion of the work, the expectation is to obtain a fully functional game with different levels of difficulty and distinct environments. |
