La Canadenca

Abstract

Aquest TFG se centra en la creació d'un tràiler d'animació sobre la vaga de La Canadenca, un esdeveniment clau en la història laboral del segle XX. L'objectiu principal del projecte és captar l'essència d'aquesta lluita històrica i presentar-la d'una manera moderna i atractiva per al públic contemporani. Amb aquest propòsit, el projecte pretén transcendir la mera transmissió de fets històrics, oferint una experiència visual immersiva que fomenti la comprensió i la reflexió crítica sobre els drets laborals i la seva vigència actual. El procés de treball s'ha desenvolupat en tres fases principals: preproducció, producció i postproducció. Durant la preproducció, es van definir els elements clau de la narrativa i el disseny visual. En la producció, es van aplicar tècniques avançades d'animació per donar vida als personatges i escenaris històrics. Finalment, en la postproducció, es van integrar efectes visuals, música i so per crear una peça cohesiva i impactant. Els resultats obtinguts han estat satisfactoris, amb un tràiler que reflecteix fidelment l'ambient i els conflictes de la vaga de La Canadenca, tot captivant l'audiència amb una narrativa visual vibrant. Aquest projecte no només és una demostració de capacitats tècniques i creatives, sinó també una futura eina educativa i de sensibilització sobre la importància de la memòria històrica i la lluita pels drets laborals. Per acabar, aquest projecte ha representat una oportunitat per fusionar la passió per la història i l'animació, i ha establert les bases per a futures iniciatives que continuïn explorant temes socials i històrics rellevants a través de l'animació.

This TFG focuses on the creation of an animation tràiler on the La Canadenca strike, a key event in the labor history of the 20th century. The main objective of the project is to capture the essence of this historical struggle and present it in a modern and attractive way for the contemporary public. To this end, the project aims to transcend the mere transmission of historical facts, offering animmersive visual experience that fosters understanding and critical reflection on labor rights and their current validity. The work process has been developed in three main phases: pre-production, production and post-production. During pre-production, key elements of narrative and visual design were defined. In the production, advanced animation techniques were applied to give life to the characters and historical scenarios. Finally, in post-production, visual effects, music and sound were integrated to create a cohesive and shocking piece. The results obtained have been satisfactory, with a tràiler that faithfully reflects the atmosphere and conflicts of the La Canadenca strike, captivating the audience with a vibrant visual narrative. This project is not only a demonstration of technical and creative capacities, but also a future educational and awareness-raising tool on the importance of historical memory and the fight for labor rights. Finally, this project has represented an opportunity to merge the passion for history and animation, and has laid the foundations for future initiatives that continue to explore relevant social and historical issues through animation.
