Title: MedCheck: diseño de una aplicación móvil para el seguimiento de la medicación

Abstract: The following Final Degree Project aims to design a mobile application intended to assist people who are following pharmacological treatments by developing a tool adapted to user needs. The application design has focused on two main scenarios: the first is aimed at users who want to use it as a support system for managing their medications, and the second, as a tool for employees of care homes who need to control that residents are correctly following their medication. All features and options have been developed with user needs in mind. To do this, an initial questionnaire, along with a simulation of using the available market applications and a set of questions. The development of the high-fidelity prototype was carried out using usercentered techniques, promoting the participation of different user profiles and allowing, through prototyping tools, the simulation of use in a real environment. Finally, various evaluation tests were carried out to verify that the design meets user expectations and aligns with the stated objectives. The test results allowed us to adjust the design and offer an application that meets the identified needs. The evaluation showed that an appropriate design was achieved, enabling any user to manage their medications easily and quickly.
