Author: Morales Marín, Jesús
Tutor: Díaz Álvarez, Amelia
Abstract: This work focuses on the application of the EFQM Excellence Model at ILUNION HOTELS and the degree of influence it has on quality management in the hotel industry. The objective is to evaluate the impact of this model on competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and service quality within this hotel chain. To achieve this, a qualitative methodology based on a case study is used, centered on the analysis of data derived from annual reports and corporate documents of the hotel chain. The evaluation centers on three main parts: Leadership, Execution, and Results. In the Leadership section, we examine the organization's vision, purpose, and strategy, highlighting its commitment to inclusion and sustainability. In the Execution section, operational practices and policies implemented to achieve strategic objectives are analyzed, emphasizing stakeholder engagement and the creation of sustainable value. Finally, in the Results section, we evaluate achievements in terms of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and external recognition. The results show that the integration of the EFQM Model has brought benefits, improving service quality and the competitiveness of the hotel chain. The introduction of pioneering and sustainable methods has allowed the organization not only to meet quality standards but also to exceed the expectations of its customers and collaborators.
