Title: Disseny d'un curs semipresencial de llengua alemanya per al turisme
Author: Rodriguez Cañizares, Ana Maria
Tutor: Lluch, David
Abstract: Various experts (Morales Bueno i Landa Fitzgerald, 2004; Andreu-Andrés i García-Casas, 2010; Torres Zúñiga et al., 2015; Ortiz Ballester & Moreno Meseguer, 2016; entre d’altres) defend that learners assimilate content better through active learning and engaging in activities of their interest, personal or professional. Problem-Based Learning makes this possible by placing the student in situations related to their professional field in order to solve them through independent research and teamwork. This methodology presents distinct phases. The working method (group or individual) and the type of activity in each phase (brainstorming, research, discussions) allow the planning of the educational action in a way that combines this methodology with blended learning and clearly distinguishes between synchronous and asynchronous activities. Therefore, this work presents the basic characteristics of these methods and proposes the design of a German course for specific purposes in the tourism sector using this methodology, while differentiating between in-person and online activities. The objective of this educational action is for future professionals to be able to assist German-speaking clients in their native language in typical situations.
