Abstract: | This text, written on two sides of the Atlantic, aims to place some axes of shared thinking around the possibilities of thinking about the international perspective in the field of social education. To this end, a series of opportunities are established to explore: the review and incorporation of the foreign look into practices and reflections; the construction of non-traditional networks in border territories between academic and professional; and the exploration of joint work routes aimed, fundamentally, at setting up a common framework. The starting point of this exercise is the proposal, still at an initial stage, of the systematization of collective work networks between two poles of training, research and analysis of practices, located in the cities of Montevideo and Barcelona. The main purpose is to build views, share experiences and generate modalities of exchange that include common perspectives, social and cultural particularities and future projects around the current challenges of social education, both in the areas of regulated training and in the enabling of spaces for analysis and reflection of socio-educational practices. To this end, the project «21st Century Transatlantic» outlines possible paths to take action: the creation of a common archive of experiences, the systematic review of international professional networks and the implementation of synchronized conversations. |
