Abstract: | Effective practices for building decent leisure time for all people: A vision from Social Education Leisure is a fundamental right that directly influences the quality of life and well-being of people, but people with disabilities face multiple barriers that hinder their access. This Final Degree Project aims to identify adapted and innovative leisure proposals for people with disabilities in entities in the city of Barcelona. To do so, qualitative research was carried out based on interviews with professionals from these entities, in order to understand both effective practices and the challenges they face. The results show that the entities stand out for designing activities that promote active participation, with the self-determination of people being key. Although they face obstacles mainly related to limited resources. It is concluded that, in order to move towards decent leisure for all people, it is necessary to strengthen social commitment, and guarantee sufficient resources to overcome existing barriers. |
