Abstract: | This thesis develops the concept of rhythmic sense to examine the contemporary technopolitical condition, investigating how information flows and algorithmic temporalities shape our everyday experience. Building on Lefebvre's thought on rhythm and space, the research proposes a trialectic of sense aimed at analyzing how vibrational biopower operates through the pre-cognitive modulation of intensity fields that configure our experience. This trialectic is articulated in three dimensions: sensory-perceptive, significative, and orienting. To examine how technological acceleration generates a "normalized arrhythmia" that compromises our capacity to produce differential spaces, an interdisciplinary approach is adopted, proposing a situated differential listening as a political-poetic practice. Together with a post-human understanding of intercorporeality, situated differential listening seeks to foster resonant relationships that exist at the peripheries of mainstream technological systems. This approach allows for a critical engagement with contemporary digital environments whilst creating possibilities for more sustainable modes of collective existence. The thesis contributes to debates on the philosophy of technology and the necessity of a non-instrumentalized time that allows for the articulation of genuinely political spaces in the digitalised everyday life |
