Abstract: | The categories of introvert and extrovert space defined by excellence spatial structure, ordering the private sphere and the public in the city. The duality of open and closed space, linked to the spatial structure of classical Chinese city, was ordered, justified and linked by a well-defined spatial structure. However, in the contemporary city model, it appears the issue of integration of these spatial categories and their articulation within a heterogeneous urban structure and strongly altered. What are the factors of change in the transition from an introverted community space open civic space? This process is a process that must be conducted double spatial and political level. Should run parallel to the transition of spatial categories identitarian ordering urban areas and the gradual transition socio-cultural and political society must gradually identify and adopt as their own local government institutions and its stage, the city. |
