Abstract: Design and implementation of a platform that allows a further step in support for the prevention of forest fires. Poses the basis for carrying out a fire detection system using a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This makes capturing images for later automatic fire detection by image processing techniques. This unit includes a sensor system for measuring atmospheric phenomena being able to use services networks, indicator location via GPS (Global Positioning System), and forwarded by different communications channels (WAN/LAN-GSM-GPRS ...) of data collected in order to assist in determining a plan fire and/or fire prevention work. Its development is performed by embedded systems on different platforms using Arduino in some of them.
