Abstract: The aim of this research is to demonstrate the feasibility of a mobile client-server infrastructure, where the customer is not only another consumer, if not it becomes an intelligent node. To carry out this study it has been developed an application using the Android operating system that consumes data from OpenStreetMap. This application uses tiling techniques, catching and downloading in the background as the user's position to facilitate consumption and reduce the flow of information exchanged between the client and server. It has also created an internal Web service in the mobile device to create peer to peer networks, which enable data exchange between mobile terminals.
