Abstract: | In the present project, a complete process of BI is performed through some of its different methodologies and technologies, to transform organizational data into information that allows answer the needs of the business. Firstly, the tool that best suits the needs of the project is selected. Once the tools are installed and configured for the working environment, an ETL process is developed for build a data warehouse. This will be a suitable repository for obtaining information, since the data are integrated and organized into an appropriate model that is able to analyze them and present the information quickly. Finally, taking into account the requirements of the company, a reporting and OLAP cubes system is developed. This method will provide the company with the necessary knowledge to make the best decisions in the fulfillment of its objectives and in the improvement of its business processes. |
