Title: La prensa del videojuego: una joven rama del periodismo

Abstract: In this document I'm going to try shaping a research work about the videogame press. Since it was born, not too long ago, until nowadays, this special field of journalism has experienced a change in its target, from being consumed by a very definite group of interested people to being consumed for all kind of public, since people which pay attention to all the news related with the videogame industry, until people which are only interested in their favorite products. I'll cover the elements of its origins, its evolution, and the influences received from Internet and other platforms, which have changed the ways the message is transferred, granting a lot more of importance to the audiovisual and direct communication. In the same way, I'll analyze the levels of objectivity and subjectivity presented in this genre of press. With all this in mind, I'll try to give a bit of context in order to understand better two of the mainstays of digital culture: videogames and journalism.
