Abstract

Els sistemes GNU/Linux han arribat a un grau de maduresa important que els fa vàlids per a integrar-los en qualsevol ambient de treball, tant si és l'escriptori del PC personal, com els servidors d'una gran empresa. En aquesta assignatura del Màster anomenada administració de Sistemes GNU/Linux, pretenem apropar algunes tasques d'Administració a diferents àmbits de forma relativament simple, que suposaran reptes per la persona interessada en administrar sistemes. Aquests coneixements es completaran més endavant en l'assignatura d'Administració Avançada. Aprendrem a proporcionar diferents serveis necessaris a diferents àmbits de sistemes informàtics, i grups d'usuaris, per tal de cobrir les seves necessitats en les seves organitzacions. Ja sigui mitjançant incloure sistemes GNU/Linux a la infraestructura informàtica existent, o be substituint-la directament per nous sistemes GNU/Linux. Les activitats que es desenvoluparan al llarg del curs incorporaran el coneixement obtingut i el posarem en pràctica sobre distribucions GNU/Linux, intentant mitjançant la vessant pràctica cobrir el major nombre d'aspectes possibles coberts en la teoria.

Los sistemas GNU/Linux han llegado a un grado de madurez importante que los hace válidos para integrarlos en cualquier ambiente de trabajo, tanto si es el escritorio del PC personal, como los servidores de una gran empresa. En esta asignatura del Máster llamada Administración de Sistemas GNU/Linux, pretendemos acercar algunas tareas de Administración en diferentes ámbitos de forma relativamente simple, que supondrán retos para la persona interesada en administrar sistemas. Estos conocimientos se completarán más adelante en la asignatura de Administración Avanzada. Aprenderemos a proporcionar diferentes servicios necesarios a diferentes ámbitos de sistemas informáticos, y grupos de usuarios, para cubrir sus necesidades en sus organizaciones. Ya sea mediante incluir sistemas GNU/Linux en la infraestructura informática existente, o be sustituyéndola directamente por nuevos sistemas GNU/Linux. Las actividades que se desarrollarán a lo largo del curso incorporarán el conocimiento obtenido y lo pondremos en práctica sobre distribuciones GNU/Linux, intentando mediante la vertiente práctica cubrir el mayor número de aspectos posibles cubiertos en la teoría.

The GNU/Linux systems have reached a level of maturity, making them valid for integration into any environment, whether a PC desktop, or the servers of a large company. This course, from the Master in Free and Open Source Software Technology, simply aims to approach some management tasks to different areas, which will challenge the person interested in managing systems. This knowledge will be completed later in the Advanced administration of the GNU/Linux operating system course. We will learn how to provide various services needed by different areas of computer systems, and user groups to meet their needs in their own organizations. Whether through by including GNU/Linux systems on the existing infrastructure, or replacing it by new GNU / Linux systems. The activities to be developed throughout the course will incorporate the knowledge gained and it will be put into practice on GNU/Linux, in a practical way covering as many theoretical aspects as possible.
