Abstract: The UOC is a university with its own personality and character. Since its creation, teachers, technologists, pedagogues and university management professionals have been defining, developing and implementing all the elements that have made it unique, and that now we can also see in other institutions around the world. The result was not only the existence of the UOC itself, but also the knowledge that was generated and that continues to be generated. This memory reproduces the story of this success story under the guidance of teacher training in the improvement of teaching and learning. It contains the lines and initiatives that have taken place at different times, explaining the motivations and the context, and putting into value the professional quality of its protagonists.
