Title: Celifinder: diseño y desarrollo de una aplicación de localización de restaurantes aptos para celíacos
Author: Lendoiro Valle, Blanca
Abstract: Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder caused by permanent intolerance to gluten. The treatment for this disease is the strict diet without gluten, which excludes all foods that contain this set of proteins, mainly present in cereals such as wheat, barley, rye and oats, as well as all foods that have come into contact with any food with gluten, which is considered crosscontamination. People with celiac disease have many problems when it comes to finding establishments where they can eat, because when they want to know if they can eat at a restaurant, they ask the manager, which can be tedious for both the person celiac as for those who accompany him. This project consists of the design and development of an application that locates the restaurants suitable for coeliacs, closer to the user, avoiding having to ask in each establishment whether they can eat or not, adding the information that the manager would give the user when he asked . It aims to add reliability to existing data on these restaurants in a multitude of web pages that are often outdated and can lead to errors for users, causing harm to their health.
