Abstract: | The traditional knowledge that has led humankind to the present era is slowly fading away as the comfort increases and the basic needs are covered, but threats such as natural disasters are still a chance that might eventually need to be faced. Without resources, people are even more vulnerable to them. With the aim of disseminating information on survival and at the same time serving as a database in which users can search for the information they need, Survival Hacks is created as a Progressive Web Application, responsive, accessible, and enhanced with characteristics of native applications. Through the prototyping methodology, which allows for the developer to define the content layout and the navigation tree beforehand, a prototype in low definition has been generated. Later, with HTML, CSS and JavaScript a fully functional version of the PWA has been developed, which allows the user to navigate through the content. The result is the first version of a product ready to be progressively expanded with new content and then disseminate it with an appropriate digital marketing campaign. |
