Abstract: | Online commerce has been present in our lives for years, and the numbers that it moves grow up constantly. Traditional small business cannot remain indifferent to this tendency, and this is the context where this undergraduate thesis is situated, since the objective is to create, from scratch, an online store version of the shop (children¿s shoe store) in an attempt to expand their sales channels. To achieve this goal I¿ll use the free e-commerce software Prestashop, which has the double advantage of being royalty free and having a large community of users and developers. A constant communication with the owners will be the key to satisfy their requirements, as i. e. the branding, the graphic identity, legal terms, website organization, owner¿s manual, etc. Therefore, this work goes beyond the theoretical study and will have the aspect of a real work order, a project commissioned by a client. The fact that the final objective looks beyond the academic aspect (in other words, that the online store really and permanently works) means, on the one hand, a burden of responsibility, but above all, a stimulus to overcome the obstacles that will surely arise along the way. |
