Title: Estudio en detalle de NB-IoT: comparación con otras tecnologías LPWAN considerando diferentes patrones de tráfico

Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming an increasing technological trend, and especially in Low Power Area Netwoks development (LPWAN). These networks are based on technologies for provide services and aplications using a great number of low cost and power devices with a low throughtput requirements. The first aim of this text is a generic descripción of the technological environment based on studies from others between the huge amount of existing documentation that is increasing day by day. The final objetive is to find the diferent aspects that make different the considered ítem and to generate an added value with comprehensive conclusions. NB-IoT, Lora and Signfox are leader technologies in LPWAN. They will be described along the document, focusing specially in NB-IoT as the technology with the other ones have to be compared to. This comparation study will be oriented to the generated traffic in each of them, and the effect in the network performance. It will be the second aim. The thid aim is the description of traffic models and the caracterization of traffic sources. This two aspects wil conditionate the main service (perform) anceof a network in factors such as quality of service, latency, etc. In addtition a future work in a network simultarer will be proposed.
