Abstract:	On January 2012, Ara Newspaper posted an article, 'La tribu o l'estat', written by Eduard Voltas. A month later, Voltas posted another article, 'En castellà també, sisplau'. Concerning Montserrat Sendra, both articles are in the beginning of a debate concerning the status of the Catalan language in an hypothetical frame of a independent Catalan State.
