Este trabajo de fin de grado tiene como objetivo la puesta en producción de SUSE Manager dentro de la infraestructura de un entorno empresarial real, para administrar y securizar los sistemas Linux. Se ha identificado un área de mejora en la organización con los sistemas operativos Linux que ayude a mejorar los cumplimientos de seguridad, tener una gestión centralizada de todos estos sistemas y reducir el trabajo de los técnicos. A lo largo del TFG se ha seguido una metodología en fases de análisis, diseño, implementación y evaluación, para asegurar un enfoque ordenado y documentado. La implementación de SUSE Manager, está basada en el despliegue de un servidor virtual en el entorno de VMWare dentro de la red principal de la organización, incluyendo la configuración y gestión de actualizaciones. Los resultados que se han obtenido demuestras una mejora significativa en los tiempos de aplicación de parches y actualizaciones, así como la mejora en la seguridad, rendimiento control de estos servidores. Este proyecto establece solidez, escalabilidad y sostenibilidad a la infraestructura de TI en DISA, facilitando la administración de sistemas críticos.
This final degree project aims to deploy SUSE Manager within the infrastructure of a real corporate environment to manage and secure Linux systems. An area for improvement has been identified in the organization concerning Linux operating systems, focusing on enhancing security compliance, achieving centralized management of these systems, and reducing the workload for technicians. Throughout the project, a phased methodology encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation has been followed to ensure an organized and well-documented approach. The implementation of SUSE Manager is based on deploying a virtual server within the VMWare environment of the organization's main network, including the configuration and management of updates.The results obtained demonstrate a significant improvement in the time required for patching and updates, as well as enhancements in the security, performance, and control of these servers. This project provides robustness, scalability, and sustainability to the IT infrastructure at DISA, facilitating the management of critical systems.
