Title: Estudi nutricional de productes i complements per a esportistes a Catalunya. Perspectives i innovació

Abstract: There's a wide variety of supplements and products for athletes in the market nowadays. The composition of these varies greatly depending on the target audience and the company that manufactures it, which is why this market study wants to bring together the common characteristics of these and propose a new innovative line of products for this section of the population. This is a research of the current market regarding products for athletes and a survey of the general population to determine their use. 6 brands have been analyzed (Foodspring, Nutrisport, Dymatize, Powerbar, Ettix and Aptonia), resulting in a total of 101 products, 81 responses to the interview and visiting 3 companies (Gimnasos DiR, Laboratòris Grand Fontaine i Salengei). The results obtained have been to direct the improvement of the products to the naturalness of their ingredients, the creation of biodegradable packaging and the adaptation of the supplements to the type of sport that is practiced regarding the comfort of their use.
