Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of the factors that can compromise the quality of gender educational interventions within the formal context of education-training, understanding this as a provider of guidelines to articulate the construction of identity in relation to gender associated with biological sex, and which occurs at a stage of the life cycle in which special attention must be paid to biopsychosocial factors. This analysis aims to lay the foundations for future interventions, within the framework of an education adapted to the demands of the new generations in today's society.
In recent years, educational practices have been promoted within the context of formal learning-teaching process, aimed at eliminating inequalities due to gender issues. However, when we hear about an incident of gender-based violence or sexist attitudes, it is common to hear the views argue that it is due a lack of education. Certainly, although educational practices in matters of equality are not applied equally in all territories, it seems that progress has not been made as much as would be foreseeable, as a result of visibility that has been given in the last years at feminist struggle. In this sense, the data show that in the socio-labour sphere, inequalities due to gender issues, the wage gap, and sexism remain a reality, and the most worrying thing is that among young people the tendency to reproduce gender stereotypes seems to persist as well as a lack of involvement with feminism. This paper presents an analysis of the factors that can compromise the quality of interventions within the formal context of education-training, understanding this as a provider of guidelines to articulate the construction of identity in relation to gender associated with biological sex, and which occurs at a stage of the life cycle in which special attention must be paid to biopsychosocial factors. This analysis aims to lay the foundations for future interventions, within the framework of an education adapted to the demands of the new generations in today's society.
