Title: Lágrimas que forjan diamantes: Adil, Wiam y Basma
Author: Ros Paredes, Paulino
Tutor: Casares Corrales, Alfredo
Abstract: Today in Murcia, more than one hundred thousand citizens from Morocco or with roots in that country, live, study and work, almost 10% of the population. To show how it is possible to get ahead starting with nothing, overcoming racism and the labyrinth of bureaucratic obstacles, we have a 30-minute documentary about Moroccans living in Murcia. We will be told the story by people who arrived with nothing but the clothes on their backs and today they see their children fight for the first university degree in the family. This is the case of El Mamoune Belrhalia Lakhal, his daughters Wiam and Basma and son Adil.
