Abstract: This social research seeks to demonstrate the close relationship between feminist journalism and online activism in Colombia, in its attempt to make male violence visible and to transform the social, cultural and political structures that perpetuate discrimination and violence against women. It is clear that both feminist journalism and feminist digital activism share the common goal of fighting for women's rights. Through a structured interview with six Colombian feminist women, we analyzed how both practices are considered tools for social change in the country. Despite the rise of feminist journalism and the strength of digital activism in the country, both face significant challenges today. Today, social networks and digital platforms are strategically used as tools to create social awareness in order to transform society and make Colombia a more just and equal country for all women.
