Author: Meco Rodríguez, Juan

Abstract: Satellite positioning systems, or GNSS, have increasingly importance in our lives in recent years, becoming a tool that is used daily all over the world, and not only of positioning, but also for example of exact and highly available orientation, navigation or time reference as the code IRIG time synchronization for multiple systems. The accuracy provided by each signal in obtaining the data is key. Therefore, new types of signals with different characteristics to offer robustness, precision and immunity to interference to GNSS systems. This document explains the operation of a GUI developed in MATLAB enables the creation, representation, and analysis of features and performance. The basic principles of modernized GNSS signals will be obtained by analyzing of the same information about which signal has better performance. For this purpose, a software solution has been implemented that will generate the GPS L1C, L2C and L5, will allow the analysis of its bandwidth, multipath envelope and power ratio between the main peak and the set of secondary peaks and will allow the modification of several parameters to ensure that the analyses are carried out optimally.
