Title: Migración de un centro de datos a la nube pública

Abstract: The aim of this degree final project is to develop a guide with the critical points that must be taken into account in the initial phase of a migration project to the public cloud. The project manager and the management of the organization will understand the key drivers to success in the cloud journey. The HL organization has a data center with business and IT applications. The components of the data center are obsolete and the executive management must take a decision about the future of the data center. After the first analysis, the management has decided to move al services and servers to the cloud because it is aligned with the business strategy of the company the digital transformation. The methodology followed in this work is the continuous improvement with feedback process to enhance the project after each phase. The Cloud Adoption Framework is the recommended methodology to success in the journey to the cloud. These guidelines will help to identify the critical success factors during the initial phase of a cloud migration project. These factors are required to understand the benefit of the cloud managing the infrastructure and the positive potential impact on the value chain of an enterprise.
