Abstract: The main purpose of this work is to define a hybrid methodology in project management and change management, based on PMBOK® and Prosci® methods, as well as to evidence the benefits of applying the resulting method in technology projects. Nowadays it is very common to use management methods in projects, however, it is not so common to associate them with change management methods. In general, change management goes unnoticed and is not applied in the early stages of a project, losing the opportunity to make the change profitable at all. That is why this work seeks to evidence the value of change management and why it is beneficial to combine it with project management. To do this, a study of the main methodologies in each case will be carried out, finally obtaining a method based on the two previously mentioned and applying this method in an IT project. The final result will be a methodology made up of different phases, in each of which there will be a part for project management and another for change management.
