Abstract: Tourism is currently one of the main sources of income for the world's major cities. Globalization has allowed it to become one of the main hobbies of ordinary citizens, since there is not strictly necessary to go to an agency to travel. Organizing a trip on your own can become a tedious journey due to the many scattered sources of information available to us, from paper guides to apps and portals segregated by type of entertainment. This project studies the possibility to provide an optimized route (Smart route) to the user, and to facilitate the research of any type of information related to his stay in the city. The aim is to optimize time and resources, for example, economic ones for the user. As for the city, environmental sustainability is improved distributing tourism avoiding crowds in areas of high pollution. Depending on various parameters, related to meteorology, pollution or popularity, the user will be able to plan his visit in a simpler and more personalized way. The proposal can be facilitated since it is proposed to collect all possible information from the devices of tourists and citizens and analyse their behaviour. Additionally, data collection sources are used, such as sensors distributed throughout the city, from shops to transport or points of cultural interest. BigData will allow us to manage this data and structure it according to the variables previously mentioned, so that the results are as efficient as possible. The purpose of data collection is to optimize the movement and plans of tourists and locals. After its correct treatment and classification according to different areas, it will have the ability to provide the user, for example, with a route and estimated duration time based on their dining preferences or a leisure proposal if the weather is adverse.
